[2008 February 14: Manila, Philippines] The Philippines largest outsourcing conference organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) thru the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) held its 8th  Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition dubbed eServices at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, Philippines held last February 11 to 12, 2008.

 
     
 

TransProcure was awarded as the “Most progressive homegrown BPO company of the year” during the awards night. E-Services acknowledged TransProcure for successfully establishing itself in the BPO market and recognized its quality services for serving top companies around the world. TransProcure took home the crown for its innovativeness and uniqueness in delivering its services to its clients. Likewise, TransProcure was selected following  judging criteria with its professional management team, increasing and sustainable revenues, high employment growth rate, aggressive marketing initiatives, solid credentials and an excellent customer satisfaction feedback. Charlie Villasenor, TransProcure President and CEO received the award.

 
     
 

The conference featured outsourcing centers of excellence and emerging players and locations in the outsourcing industry with the country’s aim of getting 10% of the global BPO market by 2010, accounting for about US$13 billion in revenues.  The awarding ceremonies was held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Grand Ballroom. This year’s event surpass the previous attendance and media coverage level as many  IT companies, back-office providers in Legal, Finance, Animation, Engineering, Contact Center, Game Development, Transcription services were presenting their companies with wide attendance especially from overseas.

 
     
 

“This award is timely as BPO Procurement is on the rise. Many companies will discover further TransProcure’s unique value proposition which is not easily duplicated in the market” according to Mark Mojares, Vice-President Technology and Global Delivery Services of TransProcure who was also present during the recognition night.
